アメリカの写真誌『Exposure One Awards Digital Magazine』が始めた各国の写真家の作品を特集として掲載する『Frame & Focus』の第1回目(Volume1)のページで、カンボジアでの取材と並行して撮影を進めている故郷秋田、男鹿半島の『季節ハタハタ漁』の写真が、2人の写真家の作品と共に掲載されました。『神の魚』を求めて風雪の海に挑む漁師の姿です。私はこれからも、故郷の地で受け継がれてきた営みの背景と人々の姿を、少しでも広く伝えることができるように撮影を重ねます。
