I gave a lecture on the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Akita City, Akita Prefecture, Japan. During the lecture, I spoke about the border conflict between Thailand and Cambodia, as well as my previous reporting experiences in Cambodia.

『人の願いを見つめて‐カンボジア取材の20年間』と題し、『戦後80年秋田市平和祈念行事』の中で、タイとカンボジアの国境紛争の取材を中心に講演をさせていただきました。同時に私のカンボジアの写真展『闘いと願い』も開催されました。私はこれからも、取材させていただいたカンボジアの人々の願いを伝え続けていきたいと思います。
