One of my photographs is currently on display at the Static Cinema international photography exhibition in Venice, Italy
This photography exhibition, held in parallel with the Venice International Film Festival, is now in its second year. My work is on display alongside that of photographers selected from around the world. I am deeply honored to have been given this opportunity. The photographic work of mine on display is a documentary photograph capturing traditional fishermen in my home prefecture of Akita. I hope this work touches the hearts of many people. The venue is located within historic boat docks, where traditional Venetian craftsmanship continues to thrive.
ベネチア国際映画祭と並行して開催される国際写真展『STATIC CINEMA』 。キュレーターからお声がけいただき、私の作品は現在、ベネチアのカステッロ地区にある歴史的造船所跡地に設置された展示会場に、選抜された各国約120名の写真家の作品と共に展示されています。カンボジア取材と同じように力を注ぎ、近年集中的に撮影を続けている男鹿半島で受け継がれてきた『季節ハタハタ漁』のドキュメンタリーです。このような機会を得られ、とても光栄に思います。展示を通し、故郷秋田の大切な営みが世界に届くことを願います。
